Carter. %W 2 Three gas permits were issued for laying gas services. 3 A letter from Mr. Doughty, 52 Linden St. , received , in which he stated he did not at this time wish to enter the proposed sewer in Linden St. 4 A letter was received from Mrs. Burnham, 65 Highland St. , which related to water standing in front of her property after storms. A discussion was held by the Board referring at the same time to Mr. Bar- bour's Drainage Plans. It was decided to install a 16 inch corrugated metal pipe from the junction of Auburn and Highland Sts, with two Catch- basins and have the outlet of the drain ( if permission is granted) enter on to 61r. Corham's land. 5 Mr. Howard, Town Counsel, met with the Board and turned in the proper kind of a release for the Town to obtain for laying water mains in private ways. The Superintendent was instructed to have the forms printed up. - 6 The following instructions were issued to the Superintendent : a. Notify the Malden & Ivielrose Gas Co. to fix up their trenches after backfilling, that is have them put the street back in as good a shape as they found it. b. Ascertain from Mr. Kendall whether his layout of Forest St. will be the same as previously submitted in order to obtain releases for laying the proposed water mains. c. Write a letter to Mr. Cefalo in relation to the proposed sewer on Bancroft Ave. Find out from him how much he would construct it for. d. Send Mr. Moses an application form for sewer entrance on P4lddls- sex Ave4 he living between Kingston and Lowell Ste, on Middlesex Ave. L' Meeting adjourned 10 P.M. S=R INT'MDSNT
