were received. Mr. Collins is to look ov:.r the situr:.tion and
,W bring in an stirnate of cost at the next rnecting.
The contract with A. Cefalo for culvert construction was
signed.
Ih-. Collins was instructed to notify the Mal:Lcn and
Melrose Gas J0. to lay what service pipes they wanted to on Haven
St, at once since permits to open the stre(;t will not be given i or
rive years atter the street is repaired.
Mr. Collins was instructeu to obtain bids for painting
the Highway )epa-tment Shop.
Hearings on _Lksrmits to ,.: rect poles oy the Municipal Light
Jept. were held. nobody appeared in oppsition. The ;:en„its
i+sere therefore granted.as follows:
1 Pole on IakefielcL 6t.
18 Poles on Furl ot, between Main and 2ranklin St. , southerly
from P_:a:.-,klin St.
16 Poles on Praaclin St. northerly.
Thi Town Counsel pr-sented th claims of Smith and Chamber-
lain for; 1500 and v250 respectively for land damage on account of
,t, sewer construction. It was the unanimous vote of the Boar.- not to
consider the claims since in our opinion they ar- not justified.
The Boar�d�gvoteu to have a plan and profile made of Gould
,� St. from Haven to &ale Sts.
