Members present: John W. Owen, Frank C. Carter, William S.
Kinsley, Miles C. Higgins and the Superintendent.
Mr. Collins was instructed to do a limited amount of ditch-
ing across Mr. Randall's field on West Street. It was estimated
that four men in one day would do the work that the Board felt
was necessary.
Mr. Holcomb of John Street asks that the Town install a
culvert in place of the open ditch ruining about 148" across his
property. The drainage layout for the Town calls for a 20" pipe
at this point. Mr. Holcomb feels that this ditch is dangerous affi
is willing to release the Town from all damages if they will
install the culvert. Mr. Collins was instructed to figure an
estimate of cost for this work.
Dr. Brands presented a petition signed by residents of Temple
Street, for the construction of a sewer on that street. Mr Collins
was instructed to send out sewer entrance applications to the
petitioners.
Mr. Collins was instructed to make an estimate of cost and
revenue of a sewer constructed on Bancroft Avenue up to the second
manhole.
Mr. Collins was instructed to prepare a profile and cross
section of Forest Street east of Horth :lain Street for use of
abbuttors in establishing grades on their property.
It was voted to hire Mr. Wallace to lay out the grade for
construction work on Haven Street.
