Carter, William S. kinsley, Miles C. Higgins and the Superintendent.
Residents of Ridge Road submitted a plan of that street
for approval. The plan presented was not made in accordance with
the regulations and was therefore not accepted,
The Town Counsel advised the Board in regard to the culvert
on the Bolton property on Bolton Street. The Town has "no right
to do any kind of work without express consent of owner" . "'Nater
courses are not within the ,jurisdiction of the Town" , therefore
the Town has no rights in the matter. After discussing the matter
with the Town Counsel it was decided that the Chairman of the
Board see -'r. Bolton and talk the matter over with him. No
further work is to be done on the drain until this question is
settled.
A permit to erect one pole on Warren Avenue , westerly from
Laple Avenue, was given the Municipal Light Board. The hearing
was at seven thirty o'clock and without protest.
Two residents of rearl Street south of Charles Street came
to the meeting and complained of the condition of the road near
their property. There is a depression in the road, that fills
with water after every rain storm and is not now drained. 31r.
Collins was instructed to look over the situation and report to
r` the Board.

The County Commissioners called our attention to the fact
that their order for repairs on South Street had not been fully
complied with. The chairman delegated Mr. Kinsley, Kr. Booth and
Ir. Collins to inspect South Street and report to the Board. It
is the intention of the Board to inform the County Commissioners
as to what we have done on the road, also our attitude toward
further expenditures.
:ir. Kinsley, Mr. Booth and Mr. Collins were also asked to
inspect and report to the Board on Lillis Avenue, plans of which
have been presented for approval.
'+7e find that since the cost of an air compressor is about
$2000.00, the need does not justify the expense. The matter was
therefore laid on the table .
The purchase of a conveyer for use in the gravel bank was
discussed.
The plans for work on Haven Street were discussed by the
Board.
To help the highway department in the proposed work on
Haven Street it was voted to engage Davis arid, Abbot to draw up
plan and profile of Haven Street with its intersections.
