Residents of Ridge Road submitted a plan of that street for approval. The plan presented was not made in accordance with the regulations and was therefore not accepted, The Town Counsel advised the Board in regard to the culvert on the Bolton property on Bolton Street. The Town has "no right to do any kind of work without express consent of owner" . "'Nater courses are not within the ,jurisdiction of the Town" , therefore the Town has no rights in the matter. No further work is to be done on the drain until this question is settled. A permit to erect one pole on Warren Avenue , westerly from Laple Avenue, was given the Municipal Light Board. The hearing was at seven thirty o'clock and without protest. Two residents of rearl Street south of Charles Street came to the meeting and complained of the condition of the road near their property. The chairman delegated Mr. Kinsley, Kr. Booth and Ir. Collins to inspect South Street and report to the Board. It is the intention of the Board to inform the County Commissioners as to what we have done on the road, also our attitude toward further expenditures. :ir. Kinsley, Mr. Booth and Mr. Collins were also asked to inspect and report to the Board on Lillis Avenue, plans of which have been presented for approval. The purchase of a conveyer for use in the gravel bank was discussed. The plans for work on Haven Street were discussed by the Board. To help the highway department in the proposed work on Haven Street it was voted to engage Davis arid, Abbot to draw up plan and profile of Haven Street with its intersections.
