The S.aith-Chamberlain suit against the Town was discussed prior to the meeting of the; Law Conuaittee. Lr. Herbert Richardson of Fairview Avenue requested that the road near his property be improved. Some work has already been done and- the Superintendent was instructed to reply to T`r. Richardson and inform hi:a as to what would be done. _r. Collins was instructed to look up an air compresser , suitable for the needs of the department. ` r. Collins was instructed to report further regarding the street drainage at the northerly end of West Street. ::essrs. Sawyer and Hunt presented a plan of Ellis Ave. , as now layed out, for acceptance. This plan was approved by the Board acting as a loam of Survey. r. Collins was in- structed to have this plan recorded with the Town Clerk and with the Registry of Deeds. It was voted to increase the salary of the Superintendent 4300 per year effective Larch 1, 1925. The Board decided to allow the Libby Avenue water ex- tension to be constructed by our own department employees. This was done that they might be more fully employed during the season. I 258 A communication was received from Mr. B. '�% 'Uhitney of Ellis Avenue regarling the flowage of water from the public highways onto his property on Sumner Avenue. This matter is to be investigated by Mr. Collins who will report to the Boanl at a later date. A petition signed by the members of the Board was sent to the County Commissioners for the re-location of Forest Street from Iain Street to Grove Street. -Respectfully submit d, ,40 Sec. , BoarcL _ of b is ^forks. 1 %W march 20, 1925 To the liddlesea County Commissioners: Hesnectfully represent the undersigned inhabitants of the Town of Heading in said County that Forest Street in said �.eading is in need of re-location and should be laid out and es- tablished from Main St, to Grove St. Aherefore we pray you will re-locate said Forest Street lay out , and establish the same as a public way.
