Higgins and the Superintendent. The Board approved the Superintendent's receomendation that sanitary fixtures at the Highway Department shop be torn out and a new system installed. The Superintendent reports that the situation on 'Nest St. , about which complaint was made at the last meeting, can be correct- ed at little expense. The work was ordered to be done in due course. The Bay State Bifle Range Association has refused' to pay its water bill covering the period. from September 24, 1924 to November 18, 1924 amounting to $115.55, because of alleged over- charge, which in the opinion of the Board is not justified. The - matter has been referred to the Town Counsel. The Superintendent reports that it will take approximately 1285 cu. yards, which will cost $3,000.00, to grade School Street. Intheopinion of the Board the grading of the street is not a satisfactory solution of the problem, since by doing this the water will simply be transferred to private property and other streets and will still have to be disposed of. The benefit derived v✓ould not justify the expenditure of $3, 000.00. Noted to adjourn. Respectfflally suh*tted, `' ✓1_ l Sec. , Board o_ blit ':Yorks.
