HomeMy WebLinkAbout1925-01-23 Board of Public Works Minutes v
January 23, 1925.
Members present: George H. Clough, Joseph SJ. Booth, John
W. Owen, Frank Carter, Liles C. Higgins and the Superintendent.
The question of paying overtime rates for labor beyond
the regular working hours was discussed. It was voted not to
pay additional rates, but to give the men an equal number of
hours off without loss of pay.
The Superintendent has recommended "that the salary of
4. r. Crowe be raised from forty-five to fifty dollars per week,
also that the pay of Alex. Richmond be raised from thirty to
thirty-three dollars and sixty cents per week. Both men are
efficient and painstaking and a raise in pay seems to be
warranted."
The Board voted unanimously to accept the recommenda-
tion.
The Board recommends that Bancroft Avenue be accented.
A copy of the vote and description is to be filed immediately
v:ith Li. F. Charles, Town Clerk. A copy of the vote and des-
cription is attached herewith.
Voted to adjourn.
Respectfully subm'tted,
