HomeMy WebLinkAbout1924-10-17 Board of Public Works Minutes ^ n October 17, 1924 Members present. George H. Clough, Joseph W. Booth, John W. Owen, Frank Carter, Miles C. Higgins and the Super- intendent. The plan to reloam Leach Park was abandoned since the balance of the Park Department appropriation, which is $5783.00, is not sufficient. The price quoted for loam is $2.00 a yard. It was voted to inspect Bancroft Avenue, the members of the Board to make the inspection individually at their convenience. A request was made by a representative of the High School team, for permission to move the bleachers in the ball field. permission was denied as it seemed to the Board that the bleachers were not of sufficient strength to be moved. The work for the Highv.2.y Department was carefully laid out for the balance of the year. The schedule made up will permit us to keep within the appropriation. Voted to adjourn. Respectfully submitted, Sec. , Board of' blit Works.
