Higgins and the Superintendent. building This special meeting was called to locate Alines on Sumner Avenue and Prescott Street and thereby attempt to prevent the erection of a house at the corner of Prescott street and Summer Avenue. Mr. William F. Wehrle, the owner, was first notified of the intention of the Board by George H. Clough, Chairman on Saturday, August 30th. The following vote was passed and a copy sent to the Town Clerk: Voted:- That whereas it is the intention of this Board to establish a building line on the land of William F. Wehrle situated at the corner of Summer Ave. and Prescott St. , said line to be twenty-five feet from the street line of said. Summer Ave. and twenty-five feet from the line of Prescott St. , the Secretary be, and he hereby is instructed to give written notice of such intention to said William F. Wehrle, and to have same delivered to said William F. Wehrle in person by Harry B. Collins, Supt. The following letter was delivered to Lir. Wehrle in person by Supt. Harry B. Collins. September 2, 1924. Mr. `Pulliam F. Wehrle, 79 Summer Ave. , Reading, Mass. Pg. No. 2 9/2/24 Dear Sir:- You are hereby notified that it is the intention of the Board of Public Works of Reading to establish a building line on the premises owned by you and situated at the corner of Sumer Ave. and Prescott St. in Reading: Said line to be established twenty five feet from the line of said Sumer Ave. and twenty five from the line of said Prescott St. This notice is sent to you in compliance with the statutory requirments.
