Members present: George H. Clough, Charles H.
VanStone, Joseph W. Booth, John W. Owen, Clarence C.
White and the Superintendent.
The Superintendent reported the opening of
the drain at the corner of High and Woburn Streets.
There was a discussion of the installing of the 36 inch
drain on High Street from Woburn to Washington. Mr.
Owen was requested to get figures on the cost of con-
struction.
Dr. M. E. Brands appeared before the Board
`r regarding the application for a marquee at the entrance
of the Reading Theatre on Main Street. It was voted
to allow this to be built, as per plan on file .
Voted: To grant the New England Tel. & Tel.
Company and the Municipal Light Board new location for
pole on Wakefield Street, as per plan #137 on file.
Voted: To place the matter of a new tractor
and snow plow in the hands of Mr. VanStone with Pull
powers, the price not to exceed $1800.
The Superintendent was instructed to obtain
prices and have them entered on all orders for supplies.
