Mr. Flint asked the Board if they intended to call a special Town Meeting in regard to establishing a building line on the East side of Reading Square . He was ihstructed that the Board had no intention of calling a Town Meeting and was advised also to get in touch with the Town Counsel before he went ahead to do so. A general discussion was taken up in regard to buying a loader for the sand pit with no results. Mr. Briggs came before the Board to find out what the Town could do in preventing surface water drainage going over his property from the Street and entering his cellar. Supt, was instructed to look into the matter and report to the next Board Meeting. Mr. Fixler respectfully asked the Board for the use of Memorial Park, permission to use same for Church Services. The Board did not grant him any permit to do so. Judge Morton, Town Counsel, appeared before the Board in relation to the building line in Reading Square and this subject was discussed in some length. Dr. Brqnde also appeared before the Board to ascertain `► what the Board intended to do in regard to the building line. He was informed that at present the opinion of the Board was divided as to its adoption and the matter would be taken up next week. The Supt, brought before the Board a sign which hangs in Reading Square advertising the Central Garage, and asked if they wished to give a permit for its existence. Is was informed that if the permit was given the present existing signs would also require one and they did not feel justified in granting paamit. Supt. gave a verbal report of Meeting in State House Monday afternoon. Mr. Hanscom of Weston Road appeared before the Board to ascertain whether the %own would extend the Water Main down Bancroft Avenue Extension for new services. The Board told him that they would. Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
