Members present: George H. Clough, Charles H.
VanStone , Frederick W. Allen, John W. Owen, Clarence C .
White and the Supe rime ndent.
Lir. Sperry of Woburn Street called regarding
the water bill at 50 Woburn Street. The Superintendent
was instructed to have the meter tested.
Mr. Randall of Hest Street again called regard-
ing the surface water running on his land. He was in-
formed that the ditch running through his land was an open
waterway and that nothing could be done until the new system
of drainage was worked out. He was promised relief as soon
as possible.
11r. Allen was authorized with fall powers to have
statements prepared showing amounts due each year on account
of apportionments for sewerage assessments.
The Superintendent was instructed to put gravel
where necessary on Grove Street and on the eastern end of
Summer Avenue and Hopkins Street to Main Street.
Voted: To grant the Reading Post #62, American
legion, permission to erect a stand on which to sell ice-
cream and other refreshments during the Band Concert on the
evening of August 8th, said stand to be removed after the
Concert.
Voted: To adjourn.
