HomeMy WebLinkAbout1922-05-05 Board of Public Works Minutes May 5, 1922. Members present: George H. Clough, Charles H. VanStone, Frederick W. Allen, John W. Owen, Clarence C. White and the Superintendent. Mr. MacKenzie of the New England Telephone Co. appeared before the Board regarding the proposed conduit on Woburn and Main Streets. It was agreed to grant them the location asked for in the petition. The Superintendent was instructed to fill the holes on Lowell Street near Grove. The Superintendent was authorized to purchase r for the use of the Sewer Department a new Ford truck, and to have the same lettered "Town of Reading, Board of Public Works, Sewer Department". The Superintendent was instructed to inform Mr. Willard Bancroft of West Street that the Board cannot take up the car tracks in front of his house. Voted: To adjourn. eoretary.
