Members present: George H. Clough, Charles H.
" VanStone, Frederick W. Allen, John Id. Owen, Clarence C. -
White and the Superintendent.
Mr. Lloyd of Franklin Street appeared before the
Board and offered them the free use of stone and gravel in.
the ledge on his premises for a suitable trial on the roads,
which was accepted.
1.".r. Storey of Bancroft Avenue Fxtension appeared
before the Board in the interest of anextension of the water
system from that street. The matter was referred_to the *� .
Superintendent for investigation.
Urs. Shepardson, President of the Woman's Club,
and the Play Ground Committee , appeared before the. Boaxd moi"
regarding the Summer work at- Idemorial Park. They. were '
given authority to take full charge of play and employ the' • '
Supervisors for the Summer.
Voted: To pay Heath of the Highway Department "
625.50 per week. _
The Superintendent was instructed to put 2reah ' --
gravel on parts of Woburn Street , Summer Avenue, Grove
Street and other streets where needed.
Discussion of Water Department.
