Davis, Lindsay, Brophy, Putnam, and Superintendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Meeting temporarily adjourned at 7:45 P.M. to hold Board of Survey hearing. Reconvened at 8:00 P.M. Met with following named persons to consider feasibility of installing an auxiliary water main connection with North Reading and Wilmington water systems. Present were: Mr. Gullam - Member Bd. Public Works - No. Reading Mr. Sweetland - Member Bd. Public Works - No. Reading Mr. Harriman - Water Commissioner - Wilmington Mr. Eames - Water Commissioner - Wilmington Mr. Sargent - Water Superintendent - Wilmington Held informal hearing at 8:30 P.M. on proposed sewer exten- sion in Summer Avenue between Woburn Street and Prescott Street. Highway $1,200.00 Parks 300.00 Water 18,000.00 Received letter from County Commissioners stating that a meeting will be held September 26, 1946 at 10:30 A.M. at Cambridge to discuss Chapter 90 allotments for 1947. Voted to approve attachment of memorial plaque to flagpole on Common as a memorial to World War II service men and women. 179' Received letter from Town Counsel stating that it is not proper to install a water main in County Road east of Lewis St. until after the Board of Survey has approved a layout of lines and grades.
