HomeMy WebLinkAbout1946-07-15 Board of Public Works Minutes 17:3. Reading, Mass . , July 15, 1946 ' The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30 P.M. Messrs. Davis, Lindsay, Brophy, Putnam, Teer, and Superin- tendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Voted not to approve the request of Edouard Dube of 216 Woburn St. that he be relieved of the necessity of connecting with the sewer. Voted to extend the sick leave of Ernest Watson. Matter to be reviewed at next meeting. Voted to pay Machinery Insurance bill provided policy includes accidents from outside sources such as: airplanes trucks, etc Voted to authorize Superintendent to make salary arrange- ment with Jule Zanni. Voted to reouest George Baxter to take physical examination at expense of Board to determine his ability to do laborious work. Mr. Lester Gaul, 245 Summer Ave. conferred with Board rela- tive to possibility of extension of sewer in Summer Avenue to serve his property. Mr. Earle Thompson, 11 Grand Street conferred with Board relative to possibility of extension of sewer in High, Dudley and Grand Streets to serve his property.
