Davis, Lindsay, Brophy, Putnam, Teer and Superin- tendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. ' Following Granolithic Sidewalk applications received, approved and placed on file: Minnie Davis 40 Bancroft Avenue Ethel Gowing 81 John Street John Twomey 3 Mt. Vernon St. Henry Ballou 71 Green Street Talmage Real Estate Trust 72 Linden Street John Griffin 22 Bond Street Donald Morse 18 Bond Street Otis Anderson 14 Bond Street Grace Anderson 34 Bond Street Following Granite Curb applications received, approved, and placed on file: Ethel Gowing 81 John Street Henry Ballou 71 Green Street Talmage Real Estate Trust 72 Linden Street Voted to permit Town of Wakefield Highway Department to borrow our motor grader. Received a petition from some of the residents of Sunnyside (Private) Road requesting that a six (6) inch water main be installed in Sunnyside Road. Voted to prepare a plan for submission to the Board of Survey so that water main can be installed. Voted to close the Dept. Saturday, October 13, 1945. Voted to install a wooden flagpole with a lightning rod y; s in the Common. 129 Voted to write 'Selectmen notifying them that the Board Iwill request a transfer of funds for the erection of the above mentioned flagpole. Conferred with Selectmen at their reouest. Discussed building an addition to the garage to house the Moth Dept. Also discussed construction of a Town Parking Area in the rear of the stores on the west side of Main Street. Board agreed in principal to addition to garage for Moth Dept. and also to furnish estimate for construction of Parking Area. Board adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
