Lindsay, Putnam, Teer and Superintendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Mr. Martin Forbes , Mrs. Charles Stratton, Mr. & Mrs. J. W. Anderson, Mrs. Harry Perry, Mr. Van Cunningham conferred with Board relative to drainage conditions between Scotland Road and Oak Street near West St. Boe_rd will investigate. Messrs . Rust, Merritt, Woodward & Kroeck conferred with Board relative to skating rink and appurtenances at Birch Meadow. Board agreed to requests made. ' Signed final statement of Chapter 90 Maintenance expenditures for 1944. Voted to close Department Saturday, A.M. December 23, 1944. Mr. Carl Anderson, 362 Summer Avenue, conferred with Board relative to his October, 1943, April, 1944 and October, 1944 water bills. Claims bills are too large. Voted to abate $20.00 on October, 1943 and $20.00 on October, 1944 bills. Signed commitment to Assessors covering Sewer Betterment Assessments for the year 1944, a copy of which is attached hereto and herewith becomes a part of these records. Signed commitment to Assessors covering Sidewalk Construction ' Assessments for the year 1944, a copy of which is attached hereto and herewith becomes a part of these records. Considered detailed 1945 Budget sheets. Voted to submit same to Finance Committee after making corrections. Considered relocation of street lines and change in grade of a section of Pearl St. from Charles St. approximately 1300 ft. northerly. Voted to hold next meeting of Board on January 8, 1945. Voted to hold public hearing January 8, 1945, on the relocation of street lines and the change in grade of a section of Pearl Street from Charles Street approximately 1300 ft. northerly.
