Reading, Mass. , December 27, 1943
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:30 P.M.
Messrs . Davis, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and Superintendent
Welch were present.

Records of previous meeting read and approved as corrected.
Received letter from Planning Board reeuesting that the Board
of Public Works assign one of their members to act as a member of
the Capital Expenditures Budgeting Committee.
Mr. Wendell Davis appointed as Board of Public Works
representative on the Capital Expenditures Budgeting Committee.
Received letter from Weber & Smith relative to sewer exten-
sion to their factory on Pierce Street. '
Voted to approve budget as submitted and to forward same
to Finance Committee.
Voted to prepare plans for an extension to the Garage.
Extension to include room for a repair shop and storage. Also
provisions for heating. Superintendent authorized to expend up
to $400.00 to have plans prepared. Plans and estimate to be
ready for March Town Meeting.
Considered list of projects for submission to Post War
Planning Committee.
Voted to approve list and to submit same to Post War
Planning Committee.
Board adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
