HomeMy WebLinkAbout1943-03-15 Board of Public Works Minutes 26 Reading, Mass . , March 15, 1943 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30 P .M. Messrs . Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and Superin- tendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Voted to reappoint Philip Welch as Superintendent for the ensuing year. Discussed possible use by Department of W. P. A. Equipment. Voted to make certain requests of Selectmen for W. P. A. equipment. Copies of the letters are attached hereto and herewith become a part of these records. Voted salary increases for 1943 as per the attached sheet which herewith becomes a part of these records . Voted to allot $750.00 from the Highway Account for Chapter 90 Maintenance to be used with such funds as may be allotted by the State and County. Voted to hold next meeting of Board on March 29, 1943. Board adjourned at 9:00 P.M. Respectfully submitted: (Signed) Edward A.
