Home My WebLink About1942-11-30 Board of Public Works Minutes 1� Reading, Mass. , November 30, 1942 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7.30 P.M. Messrs. Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and Superintendent Welch were present. Mr. Brophy acted as Chairman. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Voted, that, in preparing 1943 Budget, salaries will, in general, be kept at existing levels. Voted permission to Board of Trade to hang a service flag over Main Street at the southern end of the Common. Signed 1942 sidewalk and curbing betterment assessments, copies of which are attached hereto and herewith becomes a part of these records. Board adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
