' A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held at
7:30 P .M.
Messrs. Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and James T.
Putnam were present.
The purpose of this meeting was to adopt an Order of Taking,
under the authority of Section 41 Chapter 40 of the General Laws,
for the acquisition of a fifteen (15) acre parcel of land owned
by the Meadow Brook Golf Club Corporation of Reading, Massachusetts ,
for the purpose of protecting the water supply of the Town of
Reading.
Voted unanimously to adopt said Order of Taking, which was
then signed and made a part of these records.
Board adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
