Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Teer and Superintendent Welch were present. Received letter from Selectmen approving the employment con- tinuation of John Logan and John Evans after July, 1942, when they would ordinarily retire. Voted to confer with the Selectmen and Defense Committee in ' relation to establishing a routine and continuous salvage drive. Following persons conferred with Board in relation to piping. the ditch running through Wescroft Park: 9 George McSheehy H. D. Smith Charles Johnson John Haskell Harold Swanson No action taken. Received notice of hearing to be held by the State Dept. of Public Health on July 14, 1942, at 11:30 A.M. on the proposed taking of land by the Town of Reading from the Meadow Brook Golf Club.
