Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Lothrop, Teer and Superin- tendent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Mr. Paul Carroll conferred with Board in relation to rocks on property abutting Granger Avenue. Matter taken under advisement. Voted following pole locations : Main St. - Pole 54/50 - Eastern Mass. Relinquished interests to N. E. T & T Co. & Mun. Light Dept. Summer Ave. - Poles 87/73 & 87/67 Eastern Mass . Relinquished interests to N. E. T & T Co. & Mun. Light Dept. Lowell St. - Pole 30/49 - westerly side - relocated 12' northerly ' High St. - 1 location abandoned Howard St. - 2 locations abandoned South St. - 1 location abandoned Summer Ave. 1 location abandoned Following Granolithic Sidewalk applications received, approved and placed on file: Jeanette Horn 46 Grand Street Sadie Nichols 68 Linden Street Melvin Berninger ' 16 Grand Street John Bunten 35 Fairview Avenue Following Granite Curb applications received,approved, and placed on file: Melvin Berninger 16 Grand Street Edward Halligan 34 John Carver Road Voted to close the Department June 17, 1942. Voted permit to C. Y. 0. Baseball Team to play ball on ' Washington Street Park, Sunday afternoon, June 21, 1942. Received letter from State Dept. of Public Works stating they have allotted $1,000.00 to Reading for 1942 Chapter 90 Maint. 7 Voted to petition Selectmen to permit John Logan and John ' Evans to continue working for the Town after July 1, 1942, under authority of the General Laws.
