HomeMy WebLinkAbout1947-09-22 Board of Public Works Minutes 24 Reading, Mass. , Sept. 22, 1947 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30 P.M. Chairman Putnam, Messrs. Smith, Lindsay, Webb, and Superin- tendent Welch were present. Records of previous two meetings read and approved. Following Granolithic Sidewalk Application received, approved and placed on file: William Herrick 515 Summer Avenue Received letter from County Commissioners announcing meeting on October 16, 1947, to discuss Chapter 90 requirements for 1948. Opened bids at 8:00 P.M. for proposed extension to municipal garage. Following is a list of bidders: (See attached sheet) Temporarily adjourned at 8:45 P.M. to hold a Board of Survey Hearing.
