Davis, Putnam, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent Welch were pros-nt. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Voted to permit Greater Boston Community Drive to hang six signs on light poles on Main St. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on pole location for Municipal Light Dept, on North side of Hartshorn St. 100 feet easterly from Hanscom Ave. One pole. Locations granted. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on pole location for Municipal Light Dept, on North side of Hartshorn St. between Yale Ave, and Essex St. Four poles. Locations granted. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on pole locations for Municipal Light Dept, and New England Tel. & Tel. Co, on West side of Bancroft Ave. between Woburn St, and Mt. Vernon St. Three poles. - Locations granted. Voted to change Board of Survey as per the attached sheet which herewith becomes a part of these records. Mr. Anderson, 8 Puritan Rd. to see Board in regard to filling in open well in rear of his property. Referred to Selectmen. Board adjourned at 9:10 ' Respectfully Submitted: (Signed) - H. W. Putnam Secretary 72 Following Changes In Board of Survey Rules Voted December 8, 1939 A brown paper working plan shall be submitted to the F d of Survey in addition to, and accompanying, the plan itted on tracing cloth. The brown paper plan shall show . all the information included on tracing cloth plan and, in addition, all the essential details of the survey such as . the baseline of the survey in detail sufficient to reproduce same on ground, tie points to all proposed granite bound lo- cations, computations showing how sidelines were developed from baseline of survey, and all other information pertinent to the survey. Baseline of survey to be shown on brown paper plan, in green ink. Field survey note books used to make the particular survey shall be furnished by the Board of Survey to the sur- veyors for use on surveying work for the Board of Survey. These survey books shall be the property of the Board of Survey and shall be kept on file at the office of the Board of Survey, when not in use in the field. The present regulation requiring granite bounds to be set at certain locations prior to the acceptance of the plan by the Board of Survey is herewith revoked. t
