Messrs, Putnam, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent Welch were present. Mr. Putnam appointed acting Chairman. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Mr. Menovich of High St. to see Board In regard to settlement for drainage easement thru the rear of his property. Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on Drainage Casement off Salem St, thru lands of Edwards, Parker and Chase. Mr, Frank Edwards present. Matter taken under advisement. Letter received from Town Counsel notifying Board they are not responsible for the maintenance of Michelini Lane either in whole or in part. Mr. Edgar Davis to see Board in regard to Michelini Lane. Received letter from Finance Committee notifying the Board of transfer of $200.00 from Reserve Acct, to House Conn. Acct. ' Voted to buy Frink Snow Plow for new truck at a cost of approx. 5400.00 Voted abatement of $ 2.00 on water bill of Williams at 61 Cross St. Signed pole locations permit Er Municipal Light Dept, and New England Tel. U Tel. Co, on Charles St, from Main St, to Haverhill St. Signed pole location permit for Municipal Light Dept. & New England Tel. & Tel, Co, on Wakefield St, from Pearl St. to Haverhill St. 236 Agreed to so locate curb line at corner of Gould & Haven ' Sts, during widening so as to prevent cutting down 36 inch elm tree. Letter received from Town Counsel explaining effects of Chap. 435 of the Acts of 1939 on the Dept. Layout for check valve at Grove St. Pumping Station received from "eston & Sampson.
