Reading, Mass., September 29, 1939
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:3G P.M.
Messrs. Putnam, Lindsay, Williamson and Superintendent Welch
were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Mr. Owen Gunn to see Board in regard to acceptance of a
portion of Eaton St, from Green St, to Lakeview Ave, as a Public Way.
Voted to confer with Selectmen in regard to purchasing mater-
ials and renting equipment for sewer project for new shcool.
- Mr. Edgar Davis and. Mr. Albert Malonson to see Board in
regard to Michalini Lane.
Signed contract for Chapter 90 Maint, for 1939.
Voted to establish new series of estimates for Granolithic 't
Sidewalk Construction and Granite Curbing installation as follows:
Granolithic Sidewalk only - 60¢ per lin, ft.
Granite Curbing 11 - 74 " " "
Granolithic Sidewalk with Granite Curbing - 55 per lin, ft.
Granite Curbing with Granolithic Bidewalk - 6 d
In cases where hard sidewalk otherthan granolithic are in
existence and in cases where church abut the public way, estimates
will be one half the above.
In cases where abutters have corner lots wheich have either
Granolithic Sidewalks or Granite curbing or both, estimates will be one
half the above.
