Reading, Mass., July 7, 1939
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7.30 P. M.
Messrs. Davis, rutnam, Brophy, Lindsay, Williamson and Supt.
Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
The following granolithic Sidewalk applications received,
approved and placed on file:
William Fracker - 2 Hunt Street
Norman Hammond - 8 it "
Lena Swain -12 " "
Beatrice Pendleton - -20 " "
Mary Bromley - 9 n n
Charles Graham -11 " "
W. A. Jacobs -15
Voted to require turn around on plan for Board of Survey at
' dead end streets where in the judgment of the Board of Survey it is
necessary. -
Received letter from Town Counsel -relative to connecting
cesspools, sewers, and drains to drains and ditches.
Sighed Order of Sidewalk Assessments for Highland St.,
Green St. , Grand St. , Hanscom Ave, and Hunt St.
Voted to hold next meeting of the Board July 28, 1939.
Chairman will issue a call for a meeting before then if necessary.
Board adjourned at 9:00 P.M. -
