Reading, Mass., June 10, 1938
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:39 P. M.
Messrs, Lindsay, Putnam, Brophy, Davis, Williamson and Super-
intendent Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved;
Following Granolithic sidewalk applications received, approved
and placed on file,

Following Granite Curbing applications received, approved
and placed on file,

Following pole locations voted:
High St, - Poles Jil �1{1-1 abondoned - Replaced by one pole J. 0,

- Pole 4 changed from T.R. to J.O.
- Navy pole location at Southwest Corner Mineral & High
Mineral St, - Poles 57-57__=57-=x,7_57 changed from T.R.to J,O.
Grove St. - Poles r" "changeed £froom T.R. to J,O,
Fairmount Rd, - Poles locations laid out while this street was a private
way now approved as street is now a public way.
Mr. Bolton, 145 High St. Reading, builder of houses on Summer
Ave, to see Board' in relation to piping in ditch on easterly side of
Summer Ave, near Main St, for about 150 £t. Northerly.

Letter T. G. Sughrue, Division Engr., B. & M. R.R. in
relation to surfacing area in front railroad canopy on High• St.
He sees no need of resurfacing same. -
Mr. Lloyd Hook appeared in relation to proposed curbing
on High St, Was in favor last week. Now opposed.
Voted to hold hearings for sidewalks on following streets
as soon as possible:
PleaBant St. - Main-St. to John St. both sides
Salem St. - Harnden to Wilson It ❑
Woburn St. - Main to High
Sanborn St. - Haven to Lowell
Board adjourned 9:30 P. M,
