' - Reading Mass. May 13, 1938
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at
7:30 P. M.
Messrs. Lindsay, Putnam, Brophy, Williamson and Superinten-
dent Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Notified by Town Accountant by telephone that Mr. Wardell
of State Bureau of Municipal Accts. approves transfer of 03,000.00
from Excess and Deficiency Acct. for various purposes at Special Town
Meeting of May 23. This transfer will cover proposed betterments.
Mr. Walker and Mr. Simpson of Grove St. appeared before Board
' in reconstructing a stone wall on Grove St. on Property of Mr. Walker.
No action taken.
Following applications received and placed on file.

- Clara Wilder - 316 Have St.
Notice received of Finance Committee metting on May 16 at
7:00 P. M. in re articles for Special Town Meeting of May 23.
Voted to omit meeting on May 27. Also voted to omit
alternate meetings starting June 17.
Request for abatement on sewer bill at 5 Parker St. received
from C. P. Howard Trustee. Abatement allowed to amount actually used.
Board adjourned 10:00 P. M.
