' Reading Mass. May 6, 1938
The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened
at 7:30 P. M.
Messrs. Lindsay, Putnam, Brophy, Davis, Williamson and
Superintendent Welch were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved.
Mr. Walker and Mr. Simpson appeared in regard to stone
wall on property on Grove St.
Hearing at 8:00 P. M. on acceptance of Waverly Road by
Board of Public Works.

Board voted to recommend to Town acceptance of Waverly
Road as a public way and to assess 10 cents per ft. betterments.
Application for Granolithic Sidewalk received and approved
from Mrs. Helen Ritchie, 45 Middlesex Ave.
Hearing at 8:30 P. M.on relocation of Northeast corner of
Vine and Mineral St.
Mr. Pierce present and in favor.
Board voted to recommend the relocation to the Town.
Hearing at '8:45 P. M. on relocation of northwest corner of
Vine and. Mineral St.
Mr. Stratton present and in favor.
Board voted to recommend the relocation to the Town.
' Hearing by Board of Public Works at 9:00 P. M. on
acceptance of Lawrence Road as a public way.

Board voted to recoxmnend to Town the acceptance of Lawrence
Road as a public way.
Board voted to construct part of High St, by scarifying and
laying a 2 inch Black Top.
Voted to approve lines and grades on Bradford Road, Fielding
Road, Pilgrim Road and Barrows Road under Board of Survey, and signed
plans.
Voted not to make any abatement on April Water bill of
Farpelha, Curtis St.
Voted to establish sewer regulations under Chapter 280
General Laws if approved by Town Counsel.
Signed following reports of layouts for Town Meeting. _
