The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened
at 7:30 P. 11.
Messrs, Lindsay, Putnam, Drophy, Davis, Williamson and
Superintendent were present.
Records of previous meeting read and approved,
Mr. Lyle of Lowell St, appeared in regardto drainage
ditches near his property.
Mr. Reebenacker appeared representing American Legion in
regard to veterans preference in hiring employees either temporary
or otherwise.
Miss J. C. Dailey appeared in regard to drainage on Bay
State Road and Pratt Place,
Signed permits for following pole locations:
Woburn Sty. - Pole 2/38 - N. E. T. & T. to J. 0,
11 It of 2/39 - J. 0, to N. E. T. & T.
Mr. Hamden, agent of Welfare Board, appeared to discuss
special Welfare Work Program, Wage rate to all men on work in to be
forty ($p0.40) cents per hour.
Board adjourned 1030 P. M.
