HomeMy WebLinkAbout1938-02-18 Board of Public Works Minutes 23T Reading Mass. February 18,1938 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:30 P. M. Messrs. Bancroft, Putnam, Brophy, Lindsay and Surperinten- dent Welch were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Hearing at 8:00 P. M. on possibilities .of draining Franklin St, thru land of Mary Emerson along Westerly boundary line. Mr. John I Preston, Attorney, representing Mrs. Emerson attended hearing. States Mrs. Emerson will not sign a voluntary easement unless entire ditch is piped. Mr. Brown appeared before board in regard to fence at Memorial Park. Application for granite curbing received and approved from Algernon E. DeCoster, 14 Grand St., To take usual course. Agreed to move metal garage from fire station property on Parker St, to new garage. Board adjourned 9:45 P.M. Respectfully Submitted: (Signed) H. W. Putnam Secretary
