The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened
at 7:30 P.M.
Messrs. Bancroft, Brophy, Lindsay, Putnam and Superin-
tendent Welch were present.
A report of the Committee on the proposed Town Garage
was received.
Letter received from Robert Hodson, 21 Kingston St.,
relative to conditions on his sidewalk. Superintendent to invest-
igate and answer.
Letter received from Mr. Pierce, Superintendent of Schools,
in relation to snow conditions that have bothered school buses.
' Matter referred to the Superintendent for his consideration.
Voted to request the Selectmen to wash walls, whiten
ceilings and install lights in both offices.
A request for a rebate on his water bill received from
Charles A. Prescott, 16 Highland St. He is to be advised that the
Board cannot grant ant rebate on the basis requested.
Report received _"rcm Weston & Sampson on the tests of
Town water. Tests satisfactory.
Voted to abate the water bill at 57 High St. 06.00
Board adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
