' The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened
at 7:30 P. M.
Messrs. Davis, Brophy, Lindsay, Putnam and Superintendent
Welch were present.
Mr. Davis acted as Chairman.
Mr. Walker called regarding drainage on his land on Grove St.
A hearing was held on the application of the N. E. Tel.& Tel.
Co, and the Municipal Light Dept. for new pole locations on Pearl St.
No one appeared in opposition and the locations were granted.
Mr. E, .L.Chanberlain called regarding his sewer bill and
asked that he be given a reduction on account of a leak in the water
pipe which did not affect the sewer.
Voted to make an abatement of 09.50.
Mr. Edgar Davis called regarding his water service.
Voted to proceed with a taking on Michelini Land and install
water main under the 4% guarantee.
Voted to require all contractors to furnish a bond when
doing any work within the street locations.
Voted to request the Finance Comrdttee to transfer $250.00
from the Reserve Fund to the Park Department and 0200.00 to the
Highway Department.
Board adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
