HomeMy WebLinkAbout1933-11-10 Board of Public Works Minutes Reading, Mass. , November 10, 1933. ' The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works opened at 7:15 P. M. Messrs. Putnam, Hartshorn, Fowle, Fairclough, Barnes and Superintendent Birnie were present. Records of previous meeting read and approved. Superintendent reported that he had not received costs of sidewalk material. A letter from M. E. Brenton, 76 Salem St. ,Reading, regard- ing rent was referred to the Welfare Board. Superintendent reported that he had not heard from the State Department of Public Works relative to cost of resurfacing ' Lowell and West Streets. Superintendent reported that Joseph Shipkin asked that Third Street be accepted under the- Bmtterment Act. Board considered Grove St. layout. Board adjourned at 8:00 P. M.
