The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public tIorks was
called to order at 7:30 P. M.
Messrs. Putnam, Fairclough, Merrill and Fowle present:
Superintendent also present.
Mr. Merrill acted as Chairman for this meeting.
Records of previous meeting read and accepted.
Mrs. Jackson of Chapin Ave. interviewed the Board and
requested information relative to the construction of that street.
Same was given to her, also a petition to be signed by the abuttors.
Mr. Robert Chesley interviewed the Board, relative to the
'acceptance of the balance of Vista Avenue. The Superintendent
instructed to meet Mr. Chesley as soon as the snow is gone and show
him just what is to be done to bring the street to proper grade.
Petition received from the Eastern Mass. St. Ry. and the
Municipal Light Dept. to transfer sole ownership to Municipal Light
Dept. , four poles on Main St. running from the Reading-Stoneham line
northerly. Petition granted.
Petition received from the N. E. Tel. & Tel. Co. and the
Municipal Light Department for permission to relocate two (2) poles
on Forest St. as per plan. Petition granted.
Meeting adjourned at 9 P . M.
