The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public 'Works was
called to order at 7:30 P. M.
Messrs. Putnam, Fairclough, Merrill and Fowle were present;
Superintendent also present.
Mr. Fairclough acted as Chairman for this meeting.
Records of previous meeting read and accepted.
Mr. Wm. A. Herbolzheimer of Melrose appeared before the Board
relative to overdue water bill. He agreed to pay $5.00 per month for
the balance of this year plus water used each month. In may he
is to come before the Board again to see about increased payments
during the summer months .
Mr. Loring G. Hawes appeared before the Board relative to
water rates for large users of water.
Board voted to fix up yard of Mr. Menovitch of Fo. 1 High
Street at a cost of about $10.00.
Letter received from Board of Selectmen relative to the
condensing of our report for publication in the Annual Town Report.
Letter received from Town Counsel relative to protection
of Town from Liability in loaning the American Legion the bleachers
for use of wrestling matches . It was the opinion of the Board that
the Legion should take out proper insurance to protect the Town
against any liability and the Town Counsel was instructed to so
inform them, same to take effect before the next wrestling bout
to be held Jan. 18, 1933.

Letters received from St. Agnes Rectory, First Congregational
Church, and Old South M. E. Church, asking the Board to plow certain
snow from around their property during storms. Board voted to do
this work without charge and Superintendent to so notify them.
Mr. Norman W. Raines of Planning Board interviewed this
Board relative to setting the lot area on new developments to a
minimum of 7000 sq. ft. This matter met with the approval of this
Board and it was so voted. This is in addition to the previous
recommendation that new devblopments have a lot frontage of 70 feet.
Letter received from Planning Board relative to the
' naming and numbering of streets. The Superintendent to invite that
Board to meet with us on Jan. 27, 1933 to discuss this matter.
Petition received from Municipal Light Dept. to install
one new pole on Vista Ave. as per plan. So Voted.
Meeting adjourned at 10:25 P. M.
