Hartshorn, Merrill and Fowle were present. _Superintendent also was present. . - Minutes of previous meeting read and accepted. Board voted to allow P. J. Holland to rent our road roller at $12.00 per day.- He is to furnish gasolene and man. Board voted to allow the Superintendent to arrange price with P. J. Holland for the rental of his steam shovel for the excavation work in Reading Square. Signed order for Sidewalk Assessments on #2, #40 and #63 ' Berkeley St. Application for granolithic sidewalk under the betterment act at #8 Elliott St. received from James Bain. Placed on file. Voted to continue drain on east side of Vine Street to catch basin on Woodward Ave. Letter received from Town Counsel enclosing draft of agreement for taking of land for drainage purposes on land of Hattie P. Teel, Oak St. Letter received from Thos. J. Kirk, 14 Summer Ave. , in regard to storm water drainage at function of Summer Ave. and proposed continuance of Prospect St. Placed on file. Hearing held at 8 P.M. on petition of Municipal Light Dept. ' for permission to install one pole on Winthrop Ave., northerly from Weston Road. No one appeared. Permission granted. -2- August 12, 1932 Cont. ' Petition received from Eastern Massachusetts Street Railway Co. and Municipal Light Department, . requesting transfer of ownership of 8 poles on Main St. between Green St. and Ash St. So voted. Petition reveived from Violet M. Flagg, 33 Vine St. , and Robert E. Fowls, 38 Vine St. , for construction of granolithic sidewalk to be paid for in advance. So voted.. Meeting adjourned at 9 P.M.
