The Regular Meeting of the Board of Pub1ln 'Norks called to
order at 7:30 P.M.
All Members and the Superintendent were present.
Minutes of previous meeting read and accepted.
Messrs. Nathaniel Coles; John Strickland and Frederick Burns-
interviewed the Board, relative to securing aid in filling Van
Norden Road. Board voted to allow them to take gravel from the
town pit for this purpose, providing they furnish the trucks
and labor.
Superintendent instructed to obtain prices for a chain link
fence for use around the tennis courts at Memorial Park.
Letter received from Horace A. Bailey of 43 Salem St. asking
the department to connect his house with the sewer and allow him
' to pay for same on terms. Superintendent to write him, that work
can not be done under these conditions.
Board of Public Welfare interviewed this Board, covering
the unemployment situation.
Board voted to install a 6" water main on Felicia Rd. ,
Longwood Rd. and Weston Rd. as per plan.
Board adjourned at 10:25 P.M.
