Minutes were approved.
Treasurer's report: Interest was posted for July through present. Due to an error in calculation of
interest, there was a large addition to the Administrative Account. Currently there is $1185.23 in this
account. We have the ability to transfer out some of the money to be used for grants.
Donna emailed Barry Berman to thank him for his assistance with support for the Council.
The RCC page on the town's website was updated to include the newest press release, the slide show
from last year's reception and important dates.
Megan started researching the practicality of having a high school student sit on the council for one
year as an associate member. She felt it is important to have a"job description"to present to the
guidance department to help with selection of such a student. She will continue to work on this.
Publicity: Donna arranged to have the signs put up on the Common in September, to have the library
advertise for grant applications on their digital sign, and to have YCC publish information about grant
t in Mid
local newspapers,Theications. Nancy ll send an Advocate,TheIIto the Master Transcript, TheEP tclhlisand The Readings magazine. RCt. This will also be sent to
N and
The Post will also be given the information.
Town Survey: Nancy, Brian and Megan met and had suggestions for revising the survey. As a
committee we decided to reduce the number of responses to 5 specific questions. It was suggested
that we have the survey available on iPad and have someone walk around at the 375'h events to seek
input. One obstacle might be lack of internet access. Nancy, Brian and Megan will finalize the survey
and it will go out by the end of the month.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
