HomeMy WebLinkAbout1931-11-27 Board of Public Works Minutes Reading, Mass . , Nov. 27, 1931. The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public Works called to order at 7:30 P.M. Messrs . Fairclough, Putnam, Fowls and Merrill and the Superintendent were present. Minutes of November 20th meeting read and accepted. Mr. Putnam acted as chairman. Letter received from C. Quincy Ives relative to the widening of Oak St. at junction of Hill Crest Rd. Superintendent to acknowledge. Letter received from John D. Landers, relative to the listing of Hillside Road for acceptance. Superintendent to ' acknowledge his letter. Board to inspect the existing conditions . Messrs . Evans and Merrill from Martin Road requested information as to procedure of acceptance of their Road. Letter received from Elmer Lincoln, regarding pipes left on Sunnyside Avenue. Superintendent to acknowledge same. Mr. John Goff interviewed the Board relative to accident of Arthur Wells, which happened in the construction of Berkeley St. sidewalk: Subject referred to Town Counsel. Adjourned at 9:12 P.M.
