`at 8 pm on 22 Yarch 1975. Present were chairman Miller, and members,
Barclay, Bishop, Blanchard, Farquhar and Proctor. Dr. .c Cauley was absent .
Phe minutes of the meeting of 15 hiaro were approved as presented.
During the meeting Pts. Farquhar reached the owner of the house
at the muster site. She found that the plaque was safely inside the
house. It had been taken down because someone had tried to remove it
and another/was needed to replace it .

rlrs. Miller had ,just received Mr. Diamond ' s draft of an agreement
between the Commission and Tlrs. Bishop for the publication of Rooftrees.
It will be approved and signed at the next meeting.
Roland Blanchard reported that he had contacted Barnstead Printing
and had received%ample of work done for the Burlington Bicentennial
Commission, and references to Reading Town ClOrrk, Lawrence Drew, and
executive Secretary Agnew for work done for the town. Air. Drew said they
had been doing work for him for the past several years, and were very
satisfactory.
It was noted that there would be a separate bill for all the
preliminary work and consultant work done by the Cotreaus, if the final
contract went elsewhere. This brought the bids very close.
After due consdderation of all factors, it was moved by Roland
fAmlanchard, seconded by 1,1rs. Bishop, and voted unanimously to award the
Rooftrees contract to Delmer CotreaV.
With the estimated copy cost of 07.00 it was then voted to set
a retail price of 467. 50 per copy, and permit a 4;6.75 price to the
Reading Haven, or other local boo's outlets, in lots of 25 books.
It was noted that before the Commission dissolves an official
vote must be taken arranging for tie transfer of all equipment •which
has been acquired ( ie , slide oroector, tope reorder, oral history
tapes and transcriotions, elide ehow, etc. ) .
T'.ie official minutes should be filed with the town clerk.
