Absent were Blanchard and Celehar. The minutes of the previous meeting were accented as presented. The status of publications in progress was the first item of business. Dr, :Ic Cauley reported on a conference with Richard Trask of Danvers 'no is town archivist , and war'-,& out of the historical society and the library museum. hiller reported a talk with Virginia Adams concerning the status of the Depot Museum, By t<ay town meeting, hopefully, the matter will be settled. After considerable discussion the Commission decided that the chairman should give the Lay town meeting a "report of progress" and status of the forthcoming publications, and hold off until November any recommendations for future actions such as establishment of an historical com;iission or archives, togetaer with a date for de-commissioninv of the Bicentennial Commission, The Com'11,—Ion voted that slide tapes and projection equipment , purchased by them, should be transferred to the ,jurisdiction of t -e Library for library purposes when the Commisaon dissolves, with the stipulation that it should be available to private groups under competent supervision, Yre, c±iller will draw up a policy paper with full details.
