Regular Meeting of the Board of Public Works held at 9:30 P.M.
Messrs. Hartshorn, Putnam, Merrill, Fairclough and the ,
Superintendent present.
Previous report read and' approved.
Report of the Department of Public Health on condition of
water samples taken from the wells read.
Pipe all laid and connected, ready to connect with pump.
Decided to look up titles and make survey of lands covered
by wells .
Hearing on approval of Pinevale Avenue. And plan signed.
Mr. H. A. Xavier requests water on West St. near. Wilmington
line. Matter to be investigated.
Mr. Turner and members of the Reading Soft Water Sect. 13 Reg. )
Laundries appeared relative to cost of sewer use. Ask for '
(Sect. 314 1909) further time to investigate matter more thoroughly.
Granted .
Voted to purchase one (1) meter at a cost of about $100.00
for new supply.
Mr. Hartshorn at Law Committee Meeting.
