A Special Meeting of the B. of P. W. was held at 5.15 P .M.
at the new wells off Grove St. for the purpose of inspecting the
testing of the water supply.
The pump has been working for one week and is to continue
for two weeks more. No shortage has yet appeared.
About 240,000 gallons per day are now being pumped, about half
of our present consumption, with only six wells connected.
Mr. Hartshorn, Mr. Merrill, Mr. Fairclough, Mr. Lumbert
(the Supt. ) and Mr. Strout were present.
