' The Regular Meeting of the B. of P. W. was held this day at
7:30 P.M.
Mr. Hartshorn, Mr. Merrill, Mr. Fairclough and the Superintendent
were present.
It was voted to. put culvert, on Haverhill St. near the North
Reading line, in good condition.
Mr. Cleveland, 10 Percy Ave. , steam shovel or roller engineer,
wants job, informed none at present, name to be put on list.
Forest Bryant, Commander of Legion, requests permit to play
Little Worlds Series at Ball Park on Wednesday nights for four
weeks, starting July 16, 1930. Superintendent to acknowledge.
Dr. Brands appeared re- layout out of Brands Court from Chute
' St. to be accepted by Board of Survey, Hearing to be held Aug. 1, 1930.
Voted to repair Band Stand, new railing, roof and floor.
Bids for purchase of Crushed Stone were opened and are as follows ;

Mr. Geo. Ida appeared for the Board of Health re- stench in '
Brook from Laundry waste. Brook will be cleaned out when necessary,
that is all Board can do.
On request of Mr. Lehan voted to put in 150 ft. of dirt
sidewalk on-East Side of Temple St. from Woburn St. and clean out
catch basin.
Board approved location of gas main in Bay State Road to
Pratt St. for the Malden & Melrose Gas Co.
