June 27, 1930.
' The regular meeting of the B. of P. W. was held this day
at 7:30 P.M.
All four members and the Superintendent were present.
The records of the previous meeting were read and approved.
It was voted unanimously to purchase one (1) new Cletrac Tractor
for $1225.90 including allowance for old one,• allowance being $400.00
Fred F. Smith bid to furnish lime at .20 per Ton delivered on
27 Tons . The General Chemical Co. bid to furnish alum at 1. 55
delivered. , Both bids were accepted.
The Board approved issuing of Bonds for Sewer Maintenance
to the amount of $2000.00

Petition of Brigham and Stockwell Electric Co. , 17 Harnden St. ,
for permit to hang a sign, granted. -
A representative of the Niles Machine Co. appeared, he is to
quote price of metal street signs.
' A letter was received from Mr. Geo. W. Davis, relative to
sidewalks on Lowell And High Sts. Supt. is to acknowledge letter.

Mr. Philip H. Tirrell, Chairman of the Cemetery Trustees,
wrote asking that the name of Forest Street N.E. of Main St. be
changed to Forest Dale Road, also that a proper sign be erected
on Main St. marked "Forest Dale Cemetery ----,00 " Board voted
to notify him of necessary proceduretochange Street name also
to order sign made at expense of Cemetery Trustees.
Board voted to remove boulder from sidewalk on Lowell St.
,just north of Organ Pipe Factory.
Corner curb not necessary at Orange and Pearl Sts.
Board signed petition for pole locations on Longview Road
and Gilmore Avenue.
Voted to use steam shovel on Forest St.
Voted to erect sign "To Lowell ---> It at High and Vine Sts. '
Voted not to convene on Thursday, Just 3, 1930, next meeting
to be held on July 11, 1930 at 7:30 P.M.
Board adjourned at 9 P.M.
