A meeting of the Board of Public Works was held this day
at 7:30 P.M.
Present were:
Samuel H. Davis
Martin B. Hartshorn
William T. Fairclough
Harold W. Putnam and the
Superintendent.
Messrs: Ralston and Millbury came before the Board and the
proceedure in regard to the Kingston Street drain was explained and
the necessary release papers were taken by them to obtain siguatures.
Mary Leeds came before the Board regarding the new drain
between Gould and Haven Streets where it crossed her land. It appears
that the drain may be entirely on her land,while plan shows it but '
partially. The matter is to be investigated.
Geo. Ids appeared to request that something be done on the
sidewalks in the vacinity of Wilson St. It was agreed to repair the
wdks on Wilson Street and Gardner Road.
An Application was received from S. R. Stembridge for per-
mission to erect two signs at his property on High St. The permit wqs
granted. A letter was received from Mr. Geo. Lang requesting an edge
stone on Elliott Street and asking reconsideration of. the decision not
to extend the sewer on this street. Voted to allow the application for
edge stone take the regular course and to reconsider the sewer exten-
sion at the next meeting.
